Most small businesses in Singapore don’t need a big CRM. They need three things: every enquiry in one place, follow-ups that go out on time, and WhatsApp in the same list as the web form. This guide shows what the common CRMs cost in Singapore, read from their own pricing pages on 27 September 2026, and how to pick one your team will actually use.

What a small business needs from a CRM

Every enquiry in one place. One Singapore guide describes the usual starting point well: “notes scatter across your phone, WhatsApp, a notebook, and three inboxes”. A CRM earns its fee when a lead from a form, a WhatsApp message or a booking all land in the same list.

Follow-ups that happen. The same guide puts it plainly: “it reminds you to follow up, which is where most small businesses quietly lose money”. The best CRMs for a small team don’t just remind you. They send the follow-up themselves.

WhatsApp. For many Singapore businesses, most enquiries arrive on WhatsApp, yet the general CRM guides that rank here barely mention it.

Why CRMs get abandoned

The most common reason a CRM fails in a small business isn’t price. It’s that nobody fills it in. The guides that rank here answer with discipline: “If it is not in the CRM, it did not happen,” one says.

A better answer is to take the typing away. When web forms, WhatsApp enquiries and bookings file themselves into the CRM, the list stays complete without anyone remembering to update it. Ask any vendor how enquiries get in without someone copying them across.

Follow-up that runs itself

Several affordable CRMs can send follow-ups on their own, though few guides mention it. Zoho’s Standard plan, at S$17 a user, includes “Cadences: Automate multichannel lead follow-up sequences.” Pipedrive’s Growth plan, at US$39 a seat, promises to “Automate emails and follow-ups so you can focus on closing.”

Set it up so the follow-ups stop the moment the customer replies or books. A follow-up that keeps going after someone has already booked annoys more than it helps.

WhatsApp and your CRM

The WhatsApp Business app on your phone is free, but it doesn’t connect to a CRM. To file WhatsApp enquiries automatically, reply to customers from several people’s phones, or send follow-ups, you need the WhatsApp Business Platform, the API, through a provider. Meta then charges per message on top of the provider’s fee. Our guide to WhatsApp API pricing in Singapore covers those fees, including what changes on 1 October 2026.

PSG no longer applies

Some CRM vendors and guides still advertise the Productivity Solutions Grant. Enterprise Singapore stopped taking new PSG applications on 29 September 2026: “EDG, MRA and PSG will cease on 29 September 2026. From 30 September onwards, apply for business grant support under the EDGE Grant.” Check what EDGE covers before you choose a CRM because of a grant.

Where AI fits in a small business CRM

The “AI CRM” pages that rank sell lead scoring and sales forecasts to sales teams. For a small business, the useful AI is simpler: an agent that sends the first WhatsApp reply in seconds, files the enquiry, sends the follow-ups and shows the owner which leads are still open.

That’s what we build. Our lead follow-up and CRM automation files every enquiry from your forms, WhatsApp and bookings into one CRM, and follows up on schedule until the lead books or says no. It starts from S$1,200 to set up and S$290 a month, and it works with the CRM you already use.

Questions to ask before you buy

How do enquiries get in? If the answer is “your team types them”, expect gaps within a month.

Can it send follow-ups on its own, and do they stop when the customer replies?

Does it connect to the WhatsApp Business Platform, and who pays Meta’s message fees?

What’s the price per user after any introductory discount, and is there an onboarding fee?

Can you export your contacts and history if you leave?

Frequently asked questions

What is the best CRM for a small business in Singapore?

There isn’t one best CRM. For a small team starting out, HubSpot’s free plan covers 2 users and Zoho’s covers 3. If most enquiries arrive on WhatsApp, look at a WhatsApp-first CRM or connect WhatsApp to the CRM you already have.

How much does a CRM cost in Singapore?

On their own pricing pages in September 2026: Zoho from S$17 a user a month, HubSpot Starter from SGD 10 a seat, and Pipedrive from US$14 a seat, all billed annually. WhatsApp-first CRMs such as SleekFlow start around S$199 a month billed yearly for a small team, plus Meta’s message fees.

Can a CRM connect to WhatsApp?

Yes, through the WhatsApp Business Platform (the API), not the free WhatsApp Business app. Meta charges per message on top of the CRM or provider fee.

Is PSG still available for a CRM?

No. PSG took its last new applications on 29 September 2026. Businesses now apply under the EDGE Grant.
