There’s no minimum spend on Google Ads. Google says “The amount of your budget is entirely up to you”, and you pay for clicks, so the real question is what a click costs in your industry. In Singapore that ranged from about US$2.58 to US$32.61 across the 19 industries we checked on 28 September 2026.

Most Singapore guides quote the same copied table of cost per click with no date or source. The figures below come from Google Ads data for Singapore, pulled through DataForSEO on 28 September 2026, and they’re in US dollars because that’s how the data is reported.

The average and the bid range are separate Google estimates, so an average can sit slightly above the range. Treat them as a starting point: your own cost depends on your ads, your landing page and who else is bidding that week.

How Google spends your budget

You set an average daily budget, not a monthly one. To budget by the month, Google says to divide by 30.4: “If you’re working with a monthly budget, divide that number by 30.4.”

Some days will cost more than your daily figure. Google says “On a given day, your campaign might spend up to twice your average daily budget to take advantage of fluctuations of traffic. At the end of the month, you will have spent no more than 30.4 times your average daily budget.” If Google shows your ads more than that, it credits the difference.

From budget to enquiries: a worked example

Take a moving company with a budget of US$1,500 a month.

The daily budget is US$1,500 divided by 30.4, about US$49. At the average cost per click for “movers singapore”, US$11.12, that buys about 135 clicks a month. If 5 in every 100 visitors send an enquiry, that’s about 7 enquiries.

The conversion rate is the part you control most. A page that loads fast, answers the price question and makes it easy to WhatsApp you turns more of those clicks into enquiries. Be wary of any agency that promises hundreds of leads from S$1,000 to S$3,000 a month. At Singapore click costs, the maths doesn’t work.

What makes a click cost less

Google says “Higher quality ads can often lead to lower CPCs.” Its Quality Score, rated 1 to 10, reflects expected click-through rate, ad relevance and landing page experience.

Several Singapore guides say Ad Rank equals your bid times your Quality Score. Google says otherwise: “Quality Score is an aggregated estimate of your overall performance in ad auctions, and isn’t used at auction time to determine Ad Rank.” What does lower your cost is the same work that raises the score: ads that match the search, and a landing page that answers it.

You also rarely pay your full bid. Google says the bid is “the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for a click on your ad. How much you actually end up paying is often less”.

GST and how you pay

Google charges GST on ads for Singapore businesses: “all Google Ads sales in Singapore will be subject to an increase in Goods and Services Tax (GST) from 8% to 9%. This change affects all Google Ads accounts with a Singaporean business address.”

Google lists Singapore among the countries where prepay isn’t available, so most accounts here are on postpay, where Google charges “every month on the first day of each month or whenever your account reaches a predetermined amount known as your payment threshold”. Monthly invoicing is only for larger advertisers, such as those “Spending a minimum of $5,000 a month (this can vary by country) for any 3 of the last 12 months.”

What an agency charges to manage it

Agencies charge on top of the ad budget, in one of three ways.

Fee modelWhat Singapore agencies publish
Percentage of ad spendUsually 10 to 20% of what you spend on ads
Flat monthly feeFrom about S$400 a month for small budgets, with tiers by budget size
Setup feeSome charge a one-off fee per campaign, from about S$500

A percentage fee grows as your budget grows, while a flat fee by budget band is easier to plan for. Before you sign, ask whether there’s a setup fee or a minimum term, and make sure the Google Ads account is in your name so it stays with you if you leave.

Our Google Ads management plans are flat and priced by the size of the ad budget they manage:

SilverUp to S$5,000 a monthS$650S$929
GoldS$5,000 a month and upS$1,000S$1,429

Grants

Some Google Ads guides still offer the Productivity Solutions Grant. Enterprise Singapore says: “EDG, MRA and PSG will cease on 29 September 2026. From 30 September onwards, apply for business grant support under the EDGE Grant.”
