Most Singapore businesses pay an agency S$500 to S$3,000 a month for SEO. Entry plans for a small business sit around S$500 to S$1,500, and growth plans for a competitive market around S$1,500 to S$3,000. Those bands come from nine Singapore SEO price guides we read on 27 September 2026, listed at the end.
The monthly figure is only half the question. The other half is how long you commit for, what gets delivered in the first six months, and what happens if it doesn’t work.
SEO prices in Singapore
| Who does the SEO | What most Singapore guides quote per month (SGD) |
|---|---|
| Freelancer | 200 to 800 |
| Agency, entry plan | 500 to 1,500 |
| Agency, growth plan | 1,500 to 3,000 |
| Agency, advanced plan | 3,000 to 5,000 and up |
| Hourly consulting | 100 to 250 an hour |
Six of the guides agree on the growth band almost exactly. The entry band varies more, from S$500 at the low end to S$800 at some agencies with a local team.
What moves the price
How many keywords you target, and how hard they are. Ranking a clinic for its own suburb costs less than ranking an insurer for “life insurance singapore”.
How much content gets written each month. Content is where most of the hours go.
Links from other sites. Guides that price them quote S$150 to S$1,500 a link, which is why cheap packages that promise dozens of links deserve a closer look.
The state of your site. A slow site with technical problems needs fixing before new content can rank, and that work is front-loaded.
Local or national. A business that serves one area needs its Google Business Profile and directory listings in order, which is cheaper than competing nationally.

Free strategy call ›Contract length changes the monthly price
Most agencies ask for a minimum term, and the price usually drops the longer you commit. No guide we read shows the difference side by side, so here is ours for our entry plan, Lite:
| Term | Lite, per month |
|---|---|
| Month to month | S$857 |
| Quarterly | S$771 |
| 6 months | S$686 |
| 12 months | S$600 |
A 12-month plan is the cheapest a month, but check what you can cancel and when before you sign. SEO usually takes months to show, so a very short term rarely gives the work time to pay off.
What the first six months should deliver
The early months are mostly foundations, and you should be able to see them even before rankings move.
In the first month, expect keyword research, a technical audit of your site, Search Console set up, and a written plan. Our Lite plan, for example, includes “Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis (15 keywords)”, a “Technical SEO Baseline Audit” and a “Strategy Document & 6-Month Roadmap”.
From the second month, expect fixes and new content every month, with a report. Lite includes “Monthly Content Production (3,000 words)” and “Monthly Rank Tracking & Performance Report”.
By month six, compare against the baseline taken at the start: which keywords moved onto page one, and how search traffic changed. If the agency can’t show you the baseline, ask for it now.
What an SEO guarantee should cover
Google’s own advice is blunt: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google. Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings.” Most Singapore guides repeat it and stop there.
A guarantee on a share of your keywords or on traffic growth is different, and it’s worth reading closely. Check four things: which keywords count, what the starting point is and when it’s measured, which tool measures it (Search Console or a rank tracker), and what you get if the target is missed.
Our SEO plans carry these guarantees, word for word from our pricing page:
| Plan | Guarantee |
|---|---|
| Lite and Bronze | “10% keywords Page 1 or +20% traffic in 6 months” |
| Silver | “10% keywords Page 1 or +20% traffic (3 free months if not met)” |
| Gold | “15% keywords Page 1 or +25% traffic (3 free months if not met)” |
Red flags when you compare quotes
A promise of the #1 spot on Google.
A price far below the bands above, with no clear list of what gets done each month.
Link “packages” or “backlink pyramids” sold by the hundred. Google’s guidance on hiring an SEO tells you to avoid link schemes.
No baseline and no monthly report, so you can’t tell whether anything changed.
A grant pitch that’s out of date. Some guides still offer the Productivity Solutions Grant, which stopped taking new applications on 29 September 2026: “EDG, MRA and PSG will cease on 29 September 2026. From 30 September onwards, apply for business grant support under the EDGE Grant.”
Our SEO prices
| Plan | Keywords | 12 months, per month | Month to month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | Up to 15 | S$600 | S$857 |
| Bronze | Up to 25 | S$900 | S$1,286 |
| Silver | Up to 40 | S$1,400 | S$2,000 |
| Gold | Up to 100 | S$2,200 | S$3,143 |
Lite and Bronze sit in the entry band above, and Silver and Gold in the growth band.

Agencies price in the commitment. Our Lite plan is S$600 a month on a 12-month plan and S$857 month to month.
