Move your Webflow site to Next.js
Outgrown Webflow? Keep the design and the addresses Google knows.
You keep the design your customers know. We rebuild it in Next.js with your Collections, forms and addresses, so the next change is a request to an AI coding agent that your team reviews.
A Webflow move can break the pages that bring you leads
The homepage matches. The Collection pages are empty.
Collection page layouts, and the way the CMS fills them, have to be rebuilt. Skip that and every blog post and case study page comes up blank.
The form looks done. Nobody gets the lead.
The form you see and the service that receives it are two separate things. Move one without the other and enquiries stop arriving.
A tidier address costs you traffic
Every address that changes needs a redirect and updated internal links, or the pages Google sends people to stop working.
Other languages get left behind
Each translated page, and its own settings, needs a place in the move. Webflow’s code export only carries the main language.
Do you actually own your Webflow site?
You can export it. On paid Workspace plans, Webflow lets you download the HTML, CSS, JavaScript and assets and host them anywhere, with no attribution needed.
The catch is what the download leaves out, and Webflow’s help centre lists it. The CMS, user accounts, shop data and translated pages don’t come with it. Collection pages show no content, password protection goes, and site search and forms stop working. We rebuild each of those parts in the new site.
DevLink doesn’t get you out either. It exports Webflow components into a React codebase, the design still lives in Webflow, and Webflow says manual edits to the generated files are overwritten on the next export. Your pages, CMS, forms and redirects still need a plan.
We read both Webflow help pages on 6 November 2026.
What happens to your Collections, forms and addresses?
We list each part of your Webflow site before the build starts and give it a home in the new one.
Pages and components
Every static page becomes its own Next.js page. Your Webflow components, navigation and shared sections become parts the site reuses.
CMS Collections
We map each Collection’s fields, references, rich text and slugs, and move the images Webflow still hosts, before deciding where the content lives.
Forms, search and gated pages
Each form gets a new place to send its leads, with the campaign source attached, and site search gets a new index. Member areas, a shop and password-protected pages are scoped in the free site audit.
Interactions and custom code
We go through each animation, Lottie file, script and embed. The motion that matters stays, the rest gets simpler, and we test it at every screen size.
Localize
Each language’s pages, slugs, titles and hreflang links get their own place in the plan.
Addresses and the switch
We decide what happens to every public address, carry your redirects over, update internal links and publish the sitemap. Then we watch the site after the domain moves.
What you check at each step, before Webflow is switched off
List what exists
We crawl the public pages, capture them on desktop and phone, list your Collections and integrations, and gather the exports you have, then send you the list.
Plan the move
Each address is marked keep, redirect, merge or retire. CMS content, forms, search, languages, analytics and scripts each get a new home.
Rebuild two pages first
We rebuild your homepage and one Collection or landing page. You check the design, the content and the phone view before we go further.
Move the rest
We apply the approved parts to every other page, move the content and assets, reconnect your integrations, and add each page’s titles.
Go live and watch
We test pages, forms, analytics, redirects, canonicals, robots rules and the sitemap. Then your domain moves, and we watch search traffic and enquiries.
We moved our own site first: 767 pages, 1,011 redirects
Our own site moved off WordPress, not Webflow, and the job is the same one. digitalmarketingagency.sg is now a static site that Vercel serves from a GitHub repository. We checked that repository on 6 November 2026:
- 767 pages in its sitemap
- 1,011 redirects, each sending an old address to its new page
- 369 of the 370 changes in the 30 days to 6 November were made with an AI coding agent, Claude Code
- A check runs before every push: titles, headings, canonicals, forms, redirects and a list of false claims. If it fails, the push stops and nothing goes live.
- Its llms.txt file is live at /llms.txt and describes the site for AI tools
On 28 October 2026 we were first on Google Singapore for “digital marketing agency”. Rankings move, so we print the date we checked.
Will your team be able to edit the site without the Webflow Designer?
Yes. The code sits in a repository with your brand rules, the agent’s instructions and checks that run before anything goes live. Your team asks Claude Code, Codex or Cursor for a change in plain words, looks at the result, and publishes it once the checks pass.
Every public page arrives as plain HTML, with structured data, a sitemap and an llms.txt file, so AI tools and search engines can read the site and quote it. That’s what makes it an agentic website. Your forms send each lead’s campaign source with it, so you can see which campaign brought the enquiry.
You keep your content, data and accounts, so if you ever move on, you take them with you. Want the same team on search after launch? Our SEO plans start from S$600 a month, and website maintenance from S$100 a month.
