Move your Framer site to Next.js

Leaving Framer? Keep the design people know and the addresses Google knows.

You keep the layouts and movement your visitors know. We rebuild them in Next.js, so the next change is a request to an AI coding agent that your team reviews before it goes live.

4.9 star Google rating for D'Marketing Agency4.9 from 79 Google reviews. SME500 Singapore award winner, 2023. 20 years in digital marketing.

A Framer move can break the pages that bring you leads

The homepage matches. The CMS pages are missing.

Collection items, their references and the pages they fill need their own place in the new site.

The layout matches. The motion feels wrong.

Breakpoint changes, hover states and scroll effects have to be recorded, rebuilt and checked on the real page.

The form shows. The submission goes nowhere.

Fields, checks, the thank-you message, spam protection and where each lead goes all have to be reconnected.

The menu looks right. Crawlers miss its links.

Important pages and links need to be in the HTML each page sends, or search engines and AI tools can’t follow them.

Will the move keep your layouts, motion and forms?

Yes. We list each part of your Framer site before the build starts and give it a home in the new one.

Pages and components

Each public page becomes its own Next.js page. Repeated navigation, sections and layouts become parts your team can change across the site.

Breakpoints and stacks

We map stacks, fixed layers, text styles and breakpoint changes into layouts that respond the same way, and check the real page at each screen size.

Effects and motion

We record the movement people recognise, then rebuild scroll effects, hover and tap states, layout changes, marquees and page transitions.

CMS Collections

We move your Collection fields and content, then rebuild slugs, references, rich text, images, filters, pagination and the pages they fill.

Forms, fonts and scripts

Every field and form state comes across, each lead goes to the right place with its campaign source, and fonts, analytics, videos and embeds get checked.

Addresses and search

We keep the addresses that work, add redirects for the ones that change, carry titles over, and put important content and links in each page’s HTML.

What you check at each step, before Framer is switched off

Record what exists

We crawl every public page, capture the homepage at desktop, tablet and phone widths, and record the animations and interactive states that matter.

Plan the move

Colours, type, spacing, breakpoints and repeated sections become shared parts. CMS content, forms, analytics and scripts each get a new home.

Rebuild two pages first

We rebuild your homepage and one CMS page with their layouts and motion. You compare them with the Framer site on every screen size.

Move the rest

We apply the approved parts to every other page, bring the CMS content in, restore forms and embeds, and add redirects and titles for each address.

Go live and watch

We test pages, motion, forms, analytics, redirects, crawler access and the sitemap. Then your domain moves, and we watch search traffic and enquiries.

We moved our own site first: 767 pages, 1,011 redirects

Our own site moved off WordPress, not Framer, and the job is the same one. digitalmarketingagency.sg is now a static site that Vercel serves from a GitHub repository. We checked that repository on 6 November 2026:

  • 767 pages in its sitemap
  • 1,011 redirects, each sending an old address to its new page
  • 369 of the 370 changes in the 30 days to 6 November were made with an AI coding agent, Claude Code
  • A check runs before every push: titles, headings, canonicals, forms, redirects and a list of false claims. If it fails, the push stops and nothing goes live.
  • Its llms.txt file is live at /llms.txt and describes the site for AI tools

On 28 October 2026 we were first on Google Singapore for “digital marketing agency”. Rankings move, so we print the date we checked.

Will your team be able to edit the site without the Framer canvas?

Yes. The code sits in a repository with your brand rules, the agent’s instructions and checks that run before anything goes live. Your team asks Claude Code, Codex or Cursor for a change in plain words, looks at the result, and publishes it once the checks pass.

Every public page arrives as plain HTML, with structured data, a sitemap and an llms.txt file, so AI tools and search engines can read the site and quote it. That’s what makes it an agentic website. Your forms send each lead’s campaign source with it, so you can see which campaign brought the enquiry.

You keep your content, data and accounts, so if you ever move on, you take them with you. Want the same team on search after launch? Our SEO plans start from S$600 a month, and website maintenance from S$100 a month.

What happens to your rankings, your forms and your edits

Can Framer export my site as code?
Framer’s help centre says it doesn’t offer an HTML export for self-hosting, because published sites rely on Framer’s own services. So we rebuild the pages in Next.js from the live site, and bring your CMS content across.
Can I self-host my Framer site instead?
Not as Framer publishes it. You can point your own domain at a Framer site, but Framer still runs it. Owning the hosting means rebuilding the site in code, which is the job we do.
How do I remove the Made in Framer badge?
On Framer, the badge goes once you connect a custom domain or move the site to a paid plan, then republish with Update. If you leave Framer, the badge goes with everything else Framer adds.
Do I need to leave Framer just to lose the badge?
No. If the badge is all that bothers you, the custom domain or paid plan is quicker. Move when you also want the code, the hosting and the changes in your own hands.
Can the Next.js site keep my Framer animations?
Yes. We record each appear effect, scroll effect, hover and tap state, marquee and page transition, rebuild the ones that matter, and test them on phones and with reduced motion. Heavy code components and WebGL get their own review.
What happens to my Framer CMS Collections?
We bring the data across, then rebuild what Framer did with it: the content model, the pages each Collection fills, references, images, filters and how you publish.
Will moving from Framer affect SEO?
Rankings can move for a while after any move, as Google processes the change. We keep the addresses that work, add a permanent redirect for each one that changes, keep titles and descriptions, update internal links, serve important content in the first HTML, and watch Search Console after launch.
When should I cancel my Framer plan?
Keep the Framer project running while you review the new site. Switch the domain once pages, motion, forms, redirects, analytics and search files pass their checks, and give it a little while before you close the old account.
Where does the new site run?
Ours is a static site that Vercel serves from a GitHub repository. Yours sits in accounts you keep, so the code, content and data stay yours.
How much does a Framer migration cost?
It depends on the pages, the content and the services your site uses, so we quote after the free site audit instead of publishing a price.
