ChatGPT Business is OpenAI’s plan for teams of 2 to 200 people. From Singapore, a standard seat costs SGD 25 a month billed annually, or SGD 32 billed monthly. We read the prices and terms below on OpenAI’s own pages on 27 September 2026.

OpenAI’s help centre quotes the Business prices in US dollars and says they “may vary by country and currency”. None of the OpenAI pages we read say whether the SGD prices include GST.
Plus or Business?
Plus, Go and Free are personal plans. OpenAI says they are “designed to be used by individuals”, and on those plans your content can be used to train its models unless you opt out.
Business changes that default. OpenAI’s pricing page lists “No training on your business data by default” for Business. It also adds shared projects and company knowledge, so the whole team works from the same price list and tone. It adds an admin console with single sign-on, connections to Google Workspace, Slack and Microsoft 365, scheduled tasks, and workspace agents.
Business needs at least two paid seats. If two people have been sharing one Plus login to save money, that breaks OpenAI’s terms: “You may not share your account credentials or make your account available to anyone else.”

Tell your staff how the workspace works before they start. OpenAI’s privacy page says of ChatGPT Business that “Workspace admins have control over workspaces and can view, access, export, and delete end user conversations in the workspace.” Its help centre also says “By default, admins and owners cannot see all private member chats.” Check your own admin console to see which applies to you.
Plan your exit too. OpenAI’s help centre says “Self-service data export is not available in ChatGPT Business workspaces.” Keep the documents that matter, such as your price list and templates, outside ChatGPT.
What your team shouldn’t paste in
Business doesn’t train on your data by default, but that doesn’t make every document safe to paste. Agree on a short list of what stays out: NRIC numbers, full customer contact lists, health details and bank or card details. Paste the job, not the person. “Quote a 4-room kitchen with a quartz top” works as well as a quote with the customer’s name and address on it.
Check the output too. OpenAI’s terms say “Output may not always be accurate”, so a person reads every quote, price or claim before it goes to a customer.

The difference between a team that uses it and one that doesn’t is usually the shared project. When the price list and templates live there, nobody starts from a blank prompt.
When an automation beats a chat window
ChatGPT helps when a person sits down to do a task. Some jobs shouldn’t need a person at all: sending the first reply to a new WhatsApp enquiry, following up a lead who went quiet, or copying a web form into your CRM. Those run better as automations that work without anyone opening a chat.
They’re also billed differently. OpenAI’s help centre says “ChatGPT Business and the API platform are billed separately. A Business subscription does not include API usage.” An automation that uses AI runs on the API, not on your team’s ChatGPT seats.

How much is ChatGPT Business in Singapore?
A standard seat is SGD 25 a month billed annually or SGD 32 billed monthly, and a premium seat is SGD 125 or SGD 160. You need at least two seats. These are the prices OpenAI showed in Singapore on 27 September 2026.
Does ChatGPT Business train on our data?
Not by default. OpenAI says “By default, we do not use your business data for training our models.” On the personal plans, training is on unless you opt out.
Is ChatGPT Team the same as ChatGPT Business?
Yes. OpenAI renamed ChatGPT Team to ChatGPT Business on 29 August 2025, and existing Team workspaces became Business workspaces.
Can two people share one Plus account?
No. OpenAI’s terms say you may not share your account credentials. Business, with at least two seats, is the plan for sharing work between people.
Does ChatGPT Business include the API?
No. The API is billed separately from Business seats.
