Send a broadcast

Each person gets an ordinary one-to-one message from your number, not a WhatsApp broadcast list, so it reaches them whether or not they saved your number.

Create one

Open Broadcasts and press New broadcast.
Choose One-off message, type a Name and press Create.
Under Who gets it, pick Everyone, One stage, By tag or Choose people.
Write your message under What it says.
Pick a pace under How it sends.
Press Send one to myself first to check it.
Press Send to and the number of people, or Schedule it.

The paces are Steady, 80 an hour, Gentle, 1 every 2 minutes, and Trickle, 6 an hour.

Note that once a broadcast starts, the list, the message and the number are fixed. Anyone marked Do not contact, or who said no to WhatsApp messages, is left out.
