Meta ads: what the purchases were worth

We ran Meta ads for a beauty products brand that sells through its own website and wanted its Facebook ads to bring in sales it could count.

How we set up the ads that got these sales
- We ran Facebook ads that sent people to the brand’s own online store.
- Each purchase on the store was tracked back to the ad that brought the buyer, so the account shows what the ads sold, not just clicks.
How to read these numbers
- The purchase value is what the brand’s website reported back to Meta. It’s sales, not profit, and the brand’s own books may count it differently.
- The figures cover two years of one brand’s ads, from before Apple’s 2021 privacy changes cut how many purchases Meta can track.
- This is one brand in one period. What your ads bring in depends on your products, your prices and your budget.
How we run it: Facebook and Instagram ads.
