Google Ads and Meta ads ROI calculator

Work out what your ad budget brings back, after our fee

Enter your own ad numbers and see what a month of Google Ads or Meta ads brings back, what’s left after our fee, and the return you need to break even. Results update as you type, and nothing asks for your email.

Your numbers, not an average

The grey numbers are examples, and they’re the same on both switches, so don’t read them as typical for either. Replace them with yours.

Where to find them: in Google Ads, cost per click is the Avg. CPC column. In Meta Ads Manager, it’s CPC (cost per link click). Haven’t run ads yet? Put in your best guess, then change one number at a time and watch which one moves the result most.

Do the ads still pay at these numbers once our fee is in?

A - monthly budget fits -. Our fee is - a month on an annual plan, or - month to month.

  • Return on ads and our fee together: -
  • Revenue after ad spend and our fee: -, before your own costs

Our - plan recommends at least - a month in ads.

Your ad spend is billed by Google and never marked up, in an account you own.Your ad budget is paid to Meta directly and is separate from our fee.

Your break-even line, from your own margin

Add your margin to see your break-even line.

  • Break-even return on ad spend: -. Below it, each sale costs more in ads than it earns.
  • Gross profit after ad spend and our fee: - a month

How to calculate ROAS, and the break-even line

Clicks = budget / cost per click. Enquiries = clicks x % that enquire. Customers = enquiries x % that buy. Revenue = customers x average sale.

Return on ad spend = revenue / ad budget. Return after our fee = revenue / (ad budget + our fee). Break-even return on ad spend = 100 / gross margin %.

So with a 40% margin you break even at 2.5x, and with 20% you need 5x. The calculator runs in your browser, and nothing you type is sent to us.

Questions owners ask before they trust the number

What is a good return on ad spend for my business?
One that stays above your break-even line, after our fee. We don’t print an industry figure, because your margin decides it: a business that keeps 40% of each sale and one that keeps 20% need very different returns.
Does the result include your management fee?
Yes. It adds the monthly fee of the plan that fits your budget, at the annual-plan rate, and shows the month-to-month rate beside it. Your ad budget is separate and goes to Google or Meta.
How accurate is this number?
As accurate as your own numbers. If you run ads now, use last month’s clicks and spend from your ad account and count the customers from your own records.
What if I can’t tell which clicks became customers?
Then your tracking is the first thing to fix, and it’s what we look at in the free ad account check. We go through your account and show you where the money’s leaking before we talk.
Do you see the numbers I type?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser, and nothing is saved or sent.
