Create a free WhatsApp link and QR code
Let customers WhatsApp you without saving your number first
Type your number and the first message you’d like customers to send. You get a wa.me link to copy, a QR code to download and a button to paste on your website. It’s free, there’s nothing to sign up for, and it all runs in your browser.
Check the number: use digits, not letters or symbols.
Check the number: it should be 8 to 15 digits.

Your WhatsApp link is ready

Your link is made in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or saved.
How to create your WhatsApp link in 3 steps
Type your number. +65 is set for you, so change it only if your number isn’t Singaporean. Spaces, a leading 0 or a + are fine, and the tool tidies them up.
Add the first message. Write what you’d like customers to send, like “Hi, I’d like a quote for a kitchen.” It’s typed in for them when the chat opens.
Copy, download or paste. Copy the link, download the QR code for print, or copy the button code for your website. Tap the link on your own phone once before you share it.
What happens after a customer taps your WhatsApp link?
WhatsApp opens on a chat with you, with your message already typed. They tap send. They don’t have to save your number or think of what to say.
On a computer, the link opens WhatsApp on the desktop or WhatsApp Web. If the number isn’t on WhatsApp, WhatsApp says so, which is why you test it before you print.
How can I tell where each chat came from?
Make one link for each place, each with its own first message:
- Flyer: “Hi, I saw your flyer and I’d like a quote.”
- Instagram: “Hi, I found you on Instagram.”
- Website: “Hi, I’m on your website and have a question.”
When a chat comes in, the first line tells you where they found you. Customers can edit the message before they send it, so treat it as a strong hint rather than an exact count.
How do I put a WhatsApp button on my website?
Copy the button code and paste it where you want the button, on any page that takes HTML, such as a WordPress Custom HTML block. The preview shows what visitors will see.
It’s a plain link with its own styling and no script. It won’t slow your page down, and there’s no plugin to keep updated.
How to add your WhatsApp link to Instagram and your Google Business Profile
- Instagram: open Edit profile, then Links, and add your wa.me link.
- Google Business Profile: open Edit profile, then Contact. If you see a Chat option, pick WhatsApp and paste the link.
- Your email signature and your Facebook page: paste the link as it is.
Make your QR code easy to scan on a flyer or a shop counter
Print it at least 2 cm across on a name card, and bigger on a poster people see from a few steps away. Keep the white border around it.
Keep the first message short. A long message packs more into the code, and dense codes are harder to scan when they’re printed small. Scan a printed proof with your phone before you print the full run.
What owners ask before they print the QR code
Do I need to sign up or give you my email?
Do you see or keep the number I type?
Will the link still work if I stop using your site?
Can I use this link with the WhatsApp Business app?
Who replies when this link brings in a chat at 10pm?
The link makes it easy to message you. Someone still has to answer, and the chats that come in after hours wait until morning.
Our WhatsApp AI agent replies to new enquiries within a minute, 24/7, from your own price list and FAQs. It asks the questions you’d ask before you quote, keeps sellers and spam out of your inbox and hands the chat to your team with the full thread. It runs on the number you already have, and every lead is filed in your CRM with where it came from.
Plans start at $390 a month on an annual plan, with no setup fee.
